I'm Fredrick Lackey -- most people call me Fred. I've spent four decades turning ideas into systems that work, from cybersecurity engineering at CISA / DHS -- including enterprise architecture work at Travelers Insurance -- to scaling operations at Spotless Cleaning and early-career deep dives at Arcada and Backup Exec.
Today I focus on AI integration, full-stack architecture, legacy modernization, and leadership. I believe the best software comes from people who understand both the code and the humans who use it.
